We’ve added a walking Ghost Tour on Wed. night and a guided bus tour of Anchorage with a tour of award-winning studios for Channel 11 Thurs. morning. Find out more and register.
Your 2015 conference host, Alaska Professional Communicators, is planning pre-and post-conference tours that will take you to parts of the “Last Frontier” state that have not been included on previous NFPW trips to Alaska. Most everything in Alaska is big – the landscape, the coastline, the mountains, the glaciers, the animals, the distance between Alaska’s population centers, the tourism industry, and the price of everything from lodging to food.
However, some things are small compared to the Lower 48 states – the population, the road system, the size of cities, towns and villages, and discounts for enthusiastic visitors.
Fair warning: Be prepared to pay more than usual for NFPW tours. We will break the pre-tour fee into two payments to make it easier for you to participate.
Be prepared to be awed by whirlwind tours where you see Alaska’s beauty; learn about the 49th state’s bountiful nature, rich culture, diverse history; and meet genuinely friendly people who tell you what it’s like to live and work in a northern climate.
